Hi I have found this site very interesting - thank you for the link. My own (married) surname came in 76th! I also got some rankings of 'colour' surnames, eg Brown, Black, Green, etc. Then I did some place names, eg London, Kent, Surrey, Essex, etc. The list could be endless, but quite fun, especially if you like statistics. Hi, The discussion of NTL's email performance, preferred browsers, mail software, etc. are off-topic for this mailing list. Those transcribing in general will find this both irrelevant and possibly irritating. If you wish to discuss such topics, then please find an appropriate list to discuss it. RootsWeb provides quite a range and they are available for review at http://lists.rootsweb.com/ alternatively there is Google which has other choices. NTL may even have their own internal help forum, and I presume that information will be available via their HelpDesk. Regarding previous message it now appears that the transcriber has resolved the problem by re installing WinBMD. And evertything is working fine. Thanks all

Inable to upload file vis the autonatic route within Winbmd, even when trying FILE MANAGEMENT the error file empty is returned although I know the file is not empty. This is the message I get from a transcriber within my syndicate. Because even completed files that I have uploaded to FreeBMD without problem are showing empty when they try it from their computer. Suggestions please keith
