    2. I have just uploaded a file and received the following warning:- Fiie 1878B3N0380 uploaded successfully. However, FreeBMD issued the following warning(s) ... Page should be numeric optionally followed by a single letter (or contain wildcards), or be a late reference (like 'see D/37' - see here if different) got See S/80 at line 276 (Newell, Joseph, Machynlleth, 11b, See S/80) I cannot see why the system feels it necessary to issue a warning here because the entry appears to conform to the the expected format. The only difference I can see is the capital 'S' in S/80. As an experiment, I tried uploading the entry with a lower case 's' (retuning it, of course, to a capital afterwards) and this still resulted in a warning. Is this a glitch - or am I missing something? Cedric Hoptroff ________________________________________________________________________ AOL Email goes Mobile! 3. Shirley, I have just (10:24 BST) managed to successfully access the scan you mentioned, so I would suspect it is an intermittent problem. The url I ended up with was http://images.freebmd.org.uk/GUS/1930/Deaths/March/ANC-04/K-Z/1930D1-R-0198.jpg Perhaps it might be worth trying to access that way? 3. Michael I'm sure that everyone at FreeBMD and the associated FreeREG and FreeCEN will say the same as I, you are very welcome and we hope that our sites do help you track down your ancestors. We do this as volunteers and enjoy helping others, maybe you might be able to help in that way? If so, just ask here and a coordinator will surely contact you. Until then, please recommend us to your friends over there, we may be able to help them also. Best wishes for your research. 3. Hi Barrie, I thought we'd put this one to bed! I normally access scans via the link on the Transcribers Page. When this didn't work yesterday morning, I tried the link Allan gave me: http://images.freebmd.org.uk/GUS/1934/Marriages/March/ANC-04/A-J/1934M1-A-00 11.jpg This produced the same message. However about 5 hours later (after I'd been out to lunch with the family) both routes worked. Can't say more - I just assume it was a temporary glitch.
