    3. Dear Keith I note your comments about upload problems. It may well be sorted by now but I have noted in the past that if FreeBMD was being updated with new transcriptions that would have been about the time that I was having trouble uploading my transcription files - either they were very slow or they wouldn't go through at all. If I left the attempt for a little while and tried again later it would usually work. I note that FreeBMD was being updated on Friday which was the time you reported problems. 3. Charlotte, Many thanks for that - it certainly seems a logical explanation to my problems. The files have now been successfully uploaded but I will steer clear in future of trying on days when FreeBMD is being updated!! Thanks again for your concern and ideas. 3. Afternoon, Yes, same here. I uploaded a file just now and it went through with no problems at all. Keith do you have a lot of applications open on your pc, which might serve to slow your processor down? Just a thought I had, as my Dell computer does that, so I tend not to use it unless I have to, for big programmes, prefering the other pc instead. Perhaps it might be worth you checking any other applications you have with an online utility. It might be a simple matter of your ISP needing a bit of sorting out or something. Good luck with it anyway. Hope you manage to get it sorted soon. 3. 1) Runtime error 429 may not be a permanent problem. She may find that by closing down her computer and starting it again that the problem is solved. That sometimes happens. 2) there is one other piece of advice that may not have been followed. When you download and install WinBMD, do not try to use it until you have closed down and restarted your computer. I am unable to put 30 in the district code section so for the time being have put a "?". Is there a work-around for this situation?
