    3. George gave you the virus, not any of the rootsweb maillists. Viruses can't go thru the lists so you can't pass it on to us thru the lists. The lists are all in text. Viruses don't cling to text. They cling to formatting. Formatted msgs to the lists are either converted or booted. I have always used Eudora email program and never have a problem with viruses UNLESS I open an attachment with a virus and I wouldn't have my virus checker turned on. You are using Outlook Express email program which is susceptible to viruses unless your virus checker is on "auto pilot." So no apology necessary to the maillists. If you have sent messages to individual people then you need to let them know that you have a virus and they probably/may have it, too. They may not know they are passing it on to people they are sending messages to because the virus sends itself to people in your address book and goes out on messages without your knowledge. Take two aspirin and you will be alright tomorrow. Oh, keep your virus checker on auto pilot. Good luck.
