    1. [FRAZIER] Frasers from Virginia to Maryland, early 1800's
    2. I am looking for a Fraser/Frazier family that would have been in Virginia late 1700's, then moved to Maryland in the early 1800's. I don't have any counties but I would assume that the counties would be near the Virginia/Maryland border. My g-g-grandfather, William Thomas Fraser (or Frazier) was born in Maryland (county unknown) 8 November 1824. According to the 1880 census, his parents (names not known) were both born in Virginia (county unknown). This has been a brick wall for several of us for quite a while, so any help, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated. Bill Scroggin Chesterfield, Missouri

    3. Bill, I'm no wiz at this. Have you tried the query pages in roots or gone to the Maryland State page and searched the census available for the early Maryland Counties. There is an area that was part of Virginia & Pennsy at the Border which was the North-West Territory. Garrett Co. Maryland is the area including Selbysport. Also the NJ. archives with the different spellings of Frazier and their source. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Snip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Subject: [FRAZIER] Frasers from Virginia to Maryland, early 1800's > I am looking for a Fraser/Frazier family that would have been in Virginia > late 1700's, then moved to Maryland in the early 1800's.
