Dear Fraziers: Went to a great Frazier reunion yesterday in Putnam County, WV. It was basically the desc. of David Allen Frazier and his wife Lula Sarah Hoff of Red House, WV, but anyone who connects to the Fraziers of Putnam, Kanawha, & Mason counties of WV, mark down the last Sunday of July on your calendar and come join the fun. My grandpa used to host them, but I hadn't been since 1966 and I was welcomed like the prodigal Frazier returned to the fold! If you connect to the desc of Samuel, Allen or William Frazier of Fraziers Bottom, you should join in! The table was groaning with the amount of food and the auction was great fun and some of the items were first rate -quilts, fisherman's knit afghans, hand carved birds, family histories, books, baskets, paintings... the list was quite impressive. I drove through Fraziers Bottom yesterday and on up Hurricane Creek Road, and oh my, but you could see why our Frazier grandpappies put down roots there by the river. Such beauty! There are some serious errors in some which could really throw even a very good researcher off.
