(possibly GIFFEN) b in Scotland abt 1787, died aft 1880, unknown burial location Children; Elizabeth J. FRAZIER. died 1867 ag 39, bur Pleasant Hill Cem, York Twp., Belmont Co., OH John FRAZIER m Ruth RAY, 8 June 1864, Belmont Co. OH John is my g grandfather and I have found no trace of him after the children were born. He may have divorced and remarried. Children; Elizabeth b 1861 Margaret b 1868 m John W. (Jack) JOHNSON 1 Aug 1883 Sara b 1871 The children may have all been born in Woodsfield, Monroe Co., OH, but they also lived in York and Pultney Twp. Belmont Co OH. Margaret (Maggie) is my grandmother. There are several other Frazier/Giffen connections in that era and I think William belongs with them but he left no trail. They seem to have been in Ohio Co.
