They live in the Natchez District of the Mississippi Territory in the late 1700's and move to Northeast Louisiana in the early 1800's. His sister, JANE FRAZIER married to THOMPSON CLACK also move with them. Their uncle is JAMES FRAZIER. The following book may be available inter-library loan. It is an excellent source for Isaac Frazier and Olivia Lee who lived in central Louisiana, Catahoula Parish and LaSalle Parish. The book is "The LACROIX Descendants 1611-1991, From France Via Quebec To Central Louisiana" by E. W. McDonald. This book is excellent for the early settlement of Louisiana based on the Lacroix's, Hooter's, Fairbanks, Frazier, Gray, Ketchum, Morris, Rice, Thompson with other family connections. E. W. McDonald can be contacted at 5313 Spaatz Ave. Orlando, Fl, 32839 or at Rt. 1 Box 60A Dry Prong, La. 71423 Im not sure if he has updates, but this was written in 1992. The book cost about $50 back then. The Genealogical Library in Alexandria LA has a copy in their library, but I am not certain whether they have inter-library loan. The LaSalle Parish Public Library, Jena LA may have a copy.

Looking for Andrew Frasier b. abt 1811. married Cinderella Stine about 1840. They had 8 children. Census says in two of them that he was born in Ireland, two say New York, and his obit says near Quebec. He died in 1900 in Sabinsville, Tioga Co, PA. His children were Jacob b.1840, Andrew b. 1841, John b. 1842, James b. 1845, Sarah b. 1847, William b. 1851, Nancy b. abt 1853, Emma b. 1863 and died young. Any help greatly appreciated. Harold
Hi Wilson, Do you have your ggrandfather's death certificate? I would get that and see what details are on it. If after 1876, you will probably get his parents and where he was born. You can work your way to states and counties from here: http://www.usgenweb.org/statelinkstext.html where you can find addresses for courthouses. If you write to a courthouse, send a LSASE and ask the costs for what you are looking for. You need to be specific or within a 2 year period. If they are nice?, they will search for a small period of time. My birth county in IL charges $7 per cert (death, marriage, birth). If you know the county, you might want to go to their local library and search for a newspaper obit. IL has newspapers on microfilms that they interlibrary loan all over the US. Good luck and holler if we can help any more. My fellow Fraziers: Harry Agnew Frazier (our line) b. 1867 & Delpha Mattison Frazier b. 1869 (male) in Shiloh, Richland County, Ohio to Charles W. Frazier & Sarah Elizabeth Mattison. In 1870, Sarah Elizabeth Frazier and her two children, Harry & Delpha, was listed with Sarah's parents until they passed away in early 1900's. Charles W. Frazier appeared in records in 1866 (marriage) and disappeared from records by 1870 after having two children. On the1880 census, Sarah was listed as widowed. I am still trying to find Charles W. Frazier. In my search, I found that on the death certificates of both Harry and Delpha, Charles W. Frazier was born in Pittsburgh, Alleghany County, PA. So I searched there. In Allgehany County, PA, I found only one Frazier family listed in the 1850 census with Charles W. Frazier at around the right age. They were located in Lower St. Clair Township and their family was listed as: Esther Frazier, age 36; Mary J. Frazier, age 14, Martha A. Frazier, age 12; Charles W. Frazier, age 10; Samuel J. Frazier, age 4. I have yet to confirm that this is Charles W. Frazier I am searing for. Nevertheless, while I searched through papers, I found a e-mail correspondnece from a kind genealogist. He pointed me to a Frazier/Frasier family living in Shiloh, Richland County, Ohio in 1870 and they were the SAME family as the one living in Lower St. Clair, Alleghany County, PA in 1850. In the 1870 census of Shiloh, Richland County, Ohio, they were listed as Rudolph Frasier (head), Esther Frasier (wife), Mary J. (32), Charles (28), Samuel J.(22), Luella(15). Is this a coincidence or a high percentage definite match? HELP! Anyhow, I still cannot make a definite connection and I have had no luck finding Rudolph & Esther and their children in 1880. If you have any information, please e-mail me anytime. Thanks a million! Flavia Frazier

I have only one Frazier / Frasure person that I'm looking for at this time but she is a major brick wall in my research. LETHA FRASURE born in VA. around 1816 moved to Jackson Cty. Ohio to marry a Joseph Radcliff in 1838. Died in 1883. Have burial location but no idea where she actually died. Seems to be a mystery. Love to hear from anyone who is researching in this area or this spelling of the name. I have found a Thomas, a Joel, and a Presley FRASURE all in the Jackson area but cannot make a connection to my LETHA. Anyone out there ever heard of her? Please check in. Thanks Teri
--part1_3b.4651c2f.2642ab36_boundary Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello fellow listers, I am trying to locate any information available on my grandfathers family. He was: Henry Arthur Frazier born 10-17-1891 in Antigonish, NS to Pierre and Mary Jane (King/Roy) Fougere Sometime shortly after his birth, the family went to Newport, RI. They stayed there for quite a time. (Children that didn't reach maturity are buried at St. Cecelia's in Middletown, RI and so is Mary Jane). There were at least 11 children that we can identify positively. Possibly more. I have some info on the Fougere's in Nova Scotia, but really need to locate Pierre and his family. (I have his siblings names and yob and his parents names but can't locate any of them except his father Pascal). Please email me direct with any info or suggestions. Just an FYI to all - I have contacted the Nova Scotia Public Records Office and the 5 major RC Churches in Antigonish County - all to no avail. So those are not options open any longer.
