Iam looking for any info. on an Edward Marcotte who is supposed to be a descendant of Jacques Marcotte-Jean Baptiste Marcotte II. Edward married a woman with a name similar to Adeline last name may be Provot. They had children but the only one I know of is Arthur b. April 4, 1883-1889.Do you know of anything that is similar to this info.I get 2 different versions on Jacques, One is that he died in Quebec and the other is that he settled at Avoyelles where he died before 1808. Any help would help me to sleep at night as I have been searching for over 2 yrs. Thanks
