Rootsweb now has a search engine to allow one to search all lists at the same time with different requirements by the user. To sign up, go to the address of http://archiver.rootsweb.com and choose "setting up an account) Its Free! Choose a user name and password. Down the page is another area where you can browse the lists. What will come up are areas of interest from over 1,700 lists. The mesages from the search are coded and their order of importance. Of note is that these messages are not automatically sent to you unless you browse or search them. So you won't be besieged with e-mail. After you log on, there is a time period if not used and the system will logout. But please logout when you are through. This is another advance brought to us by the people at rootweb.
