Hi All While we are all busy tomorrow 2 August take a moment to remember Tim Wing founder of FPFHG who went to join his forebears a year ago. Personally he rekindled my long dormant interest in family history which has led me to some interesting places and to meet some very hospitable third cousins. He badgered me to come along to an early meeting in 1997 and I was once again hooked. So to repay him after 10 years I badgered him to write the history of the group. I rejected his first effort - several A4 pages - and after many other people's involvement we have Relative Thoughts A History of the first ten years of the Fleurieu Peninsula Family History Group. An A4 book 11 chapters and every member during those 10 years listed. A few copies left. Let me know if you want one $25. What a wonderful legacy he left.
