David Holman told me at AFFHO last year that it cost them a lot to get the work for it through and it hasn't yet yielded the money they hoped it would. But I'm assured by my distant relative at the Cornwall Record Office that the CFHS went to a lot of trouble to check and recheck the info, so it should be worth paying for. I paid for it for 6 months but then let it lapse because I was too busy to find time to use it! Intend to subscribe to it again after I get back from this year's travels.
