There was a Bell family that lived at McLaren Flat & the son Jack, married Colleen Rayner. They had 3 sons & a daughter. Jack died a few years ago but Colleen still lives in Aldinga Beach & her children & their kids live not that far away. If you think they are part of this family, &/or you need more infprmation, I can get in touch Regards Lyn Elford -----Original Message----- From: fpfhg-list-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:fpfhg-list-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Jeanette Bell Sent: Saturday, 27 July 2013 6:05 PM To: fpfhg-list@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [FPFHG-LIST] Library at Noarlunga Centre Hi Ros and Robin Thanks for your info on the Bell family book. I am not aware that any books have been written on John's Bell family. His Bell ancestors came from Scotland and John's brother has a lot on the family history. There are Bells on KI but they are not related as far as we can find out. Robin in re: your message about library and donating books. The committee are working with Kelly at the library and if and when she sees a book discontinued for library use she donates to the club if she feels it would interest members. There has been a change of staff Kelly is quite new to the job but when she came to the monthly meeting we discussed this subject with her. We have had books donated recently but the resource room sub committee need to assess the book as useful to members we have so many books and lots are not being borrowed and we have a shortage of space. Thanks for your input Lynn Sent from my iPad On 28/07/2013, at 9:50, Lynn Dillon <dillonclan2003@yahoo.com.au> wrote: > the bell family is not from the south the book has been passed onto the library in the area the family are from > > Sent from my iPad > > On 28/07/2013, at 9:00, "Lyn Elford" <lynelford@internode.on.net> wrote: > >> There was a Bell family that lived at McLaren Flat & the son Jack, married >> Colleen Rayner.
