Regards Vanessa Catterall Changes to properties on the Local Heritage Register The Local Heritage (Onkaparinga) Development Plan Amendment (DPA) is on public consultation from 28 August 2008 to 24 October 2008. The City of Onkaparinga has prepared the draft DPA to amend the Onkaparinga (City) Development Plan. The DPA will add new properties to the local heritage register, change some properties from a contributory item to a local heritage item, change some properties from a local heritage item to a contributory item and remove local heritage listing from some properties. In order to protect local heritage places from inappropriate development, amendments to the DPA will come into effect on 28 August 2008. Written submissions regarding the DPA will be accepted by Council until 24 October 2008, and should be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Onkaparinga, PO Box 1, Noarlunga Centre, SA 5168, marked to the attention of Mr Callum Little. The submission should clearly indicate whether you or a representative wish to speak on the submission at a public hearing for the Plan Amendment Report. The submissions may be lodged electronically at [email protected] A hard copy can be viewed (or purchased) at all Council offices. Copies of all public submissions will be made available for inspection at Council's offices from 28 August 2008 to the conclusion of the public hearing for the PAR. The public hearing will be held from 7pm at Council's Noarlunga Centre office (Civic Centre, Ramsay Place, Noarlunga Centre) on 29 October 2008.
