Good morning everyone and welcome to the new FPFHG Mailing list for members of the FPFHG Inc. This list will replace the original Yahoo! List and will be used from now on by the Committee to communicate urgent and necessary notices to members. Members may also use this list to communicate with other members and with the Committee. ALL Members of the group have been subscribed to this list in DIGEST format - this means that you will only receive mail from this list when there is mail to be had. For example - if you were subscribed in List format, you would receive every single mail as is went through. But in Digest format, the mail sent to the list is held until either the quota (in size) is met, or once a day if there is mail there to be sent. Some days you may receive no mail from this list at all, and on others you may get only one, and on rare occasions, you might get two or three - but those would be extremely rare. What you get in your digest mail is each mail that is sent since the time of the last mail out - this might mean that there are two or three items in your digest, there may be only one, or there may be many. To send mail to this list you will need to send it to [email protected] - your mail should be in text format only and attachments are not permitted. There should be no occurrences of spam on this list, as all subscription requests are checked as valid members of the group. If you do not wish to be part of this group communication initiative, please feel free to unsubscribe from the list. To do this, send a mail to [email protected] with the word unsubscribe in the subject line and in the body of the mail, but do not put any other text in the body part, no signature or anything else. If you do not wish to be part of this initiative, please bear in mind that this is the principal method of communication for the Committee with members from now on, and if you are not subscribed, you could well miss out on some important news.
