Hi All Just a reminder that the AGM is due in November and I am hoping many of you are thinking of nominating for a position. All positions are vacant. The Committee usually meets on a Thursday evening before the General meeting on the third Saturday. The Secretary's duties are the heaviest but could be split into parts for instance minutes secretary, public relations, correspondence etc. Another Committee member looks after the new members list and information. I seem to have been organising speakers, publicity and trips this year. There are lots of little tasks, done behind the scenes that make our Group run successfully. Even if you don't want to nominate for the Committee we would welcome anyone with a little bit of time to help maintain the FPFHG. We need someone to organise the afternoon tea - Jeanette is hoping to take some time off this coming year. And we need someone to help in the Resource Room - it's not strenuous work and you will be shown what needs to be done. So if you want to get more involved contact me or one of the Committee if you need more information. The nomination forms will be sent out in October.
