I don't know much, but here it is. Fox, David; Sgt Co K; mustered Sep 11, 1861; deserted Dec 18, 1861 to the 99th Pa Inf; previously served with the 2nd Pa Inf; a vinegar manufacturer apparently from Reading, Berks County; in 1860, lived with Charles & Catherine Stough along with three seemingly unrelated individuals in York and is also listed as having a place of business in the hotel run by Catherine Motter; 5' 9", dark hair, brown eyes; born @1834/35; may have died in San Diego, California (speculation)
