Hello Foxhounds, Those of you who have been with the Foxhounds from the beginning may have noticed that I haven't been as involved as I have in the past with the activities of the our group. I'm of the generation who sits between young adults and elderly family members who are in need and my season for genealogy work for the moment has past. I have struggled for a while now as the board members know to make this decision to leave the directorship of the group, with the coming of my mother-in-law to live with my husband and I the struggle is over and I must step down. I will remain on the board and over see the FGRG message boards as the super-administrator, but the website and all the information therein needs new hands to organize and maintain it. Much of the information that originally was on the site has been moved to the FGRG boards so perhaps the site needs to be reworked. The FOX-L mail list would be part of the directors responsibility as well as the FUCHS-L mail list and the FOX message boards. The FGRG board members have worked long and hard on their boards and I appreciate them and their time and effort to gather Fox information for our researchers. They will be staying at their posts (can you tell my husband is retired military? Ü ) and I have asked them by vote to decide with me who will be the new director from those who may volunteer. This is a difficult thing for me to do, feels like leaving family you all have been so wonderful ... such fun in the hunt! I won't be completely leaving I'll just be behind the scenes so if anyone happens upon my old Abraham from Kentucky and Tennessee I'll be here to shout for joy!!!
