Almira was born about 1809 in Essex County, NJ, but I haven't been able to find a birth certificate, a marriage certificate to John G. Fox (married in Abt. 1829), or a death certificate from Columbia, Pennsylvania, where she died an untimely death in 1851. Although there is overwhelming anecdotal evidence that all this is true, somewhere along the line, there must have been some primary genealogical proof of Almira's parentage, marriage, and death. I just don't have it and have been unable to find anyone in Essex County or Columbia/Lancaster Co. who has any such primary sourcework.!!??! Thanks for any guidance! Jim Yeager
