George, I have been trying to verify, as to who Anson Fox born 1787 in Glastonbury, Hartford Ct whom his parents are I have corresponded with two people that have told me two different names one says it is Abraham Fox another says it is Stephen Fox then I have come across a Joel Fox that could be his father trying hard to crack who his father is. At one point I beleived it to be a Charles Fox of Herkimer Co. New York but been unable to find any documents on him, this to me is probably the most likely canidate but he is very evassive.
