I'm trying to learn more about my husband's g-g-grandfather: Christian Fox was born abt. 1839 in Prussia, Germany Married Elizabeth J [Unknown] in Germany The family immigrated to Pennsylvania about 1871, living at 359 Martin, Roxborough, Philadelphia in 1875. Christian worked as a carpenter. He died before 1910. Elizabeth is listed as 'married' in the 1880 census, although Christian Sr. is not in the household.
