    3. I'm back! Finally! I've had an email change from Juno due to very crappy service and their continual blocking of this Fox-L list! my [email protected] will continue to work, but I'm moving all my regular correspondence to [email protected] (these guys are a riot. Their 'spam' button is a nuclear mushroom cloud. Poof! spam's gone!) So it's been a while since I've seen regular posts or reposted my own. So here goes, bare essentials only: I have two Fuchs/Fox lines: I descend first from the brothers Johann Matthias and Johann Christoph (Christopher) who came aboard the LYDIA to PA, Frederick Co., MD and parts beyond. I descend from J. Matthias' granddaughter Salome "Sally" who m. Daniel Burgess in Augusta Co. Va (well, at least they lived there!). Two of their daughters, Mary A. and Mary Elizabeth "Elizabeth" m. Fuchs/Fox brothers, William Clark Sr. (mine) and George, sons of Mathias Fuch and Margaret "Peggy" Rowh (choose your spelling) who wed in Augusta Co Va in 1799. My lasting mystery is whom is Mathias-Peggy's (we have a ton of Mathias' [both 2 ts and one] so I keep them straight by use of their wives' names) parents are. I highly suspect he belongs to his daughter-in-laws family, as they (and other of Johann Matthias' siblings and grandkids) are in the same place and same time. But no link has been found. Mathias-Peggy and kids were also known to be in Greenbrier County and Doddridge Co Va (now WV). If further details on siblings and children are desired, please email me. Desire to correspond and share info with any related in any way with these Fuchs/Foxes. Help me solve my mystery! Thanks Crystal Crystal A.
