TABOR CITY, NC - Retha FOWLER, 93, died Monday, Aug. 23, 1999, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. She was born in Horry County (SC), a daughter of the late Ed and Nizzie FIPPS FOWLER. Survivors include a daughter, Elouise FOWLER of Tabor City, NC.; three sons, E.H. FOWLER of Wilmington, NC, Norman FOWLER of Leland, NC, and Jimmy C. FOWLER Sr. of Castle Hayne, NC; 22 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Pauline KELLY. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, conducted by the Rev. Glen FOWLER. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Tabor City.
