Jessie C. GODWIN CLARENDON (NC) -- Jessie Cleve GODWIN, 88, of Clarendon died Monday in Premier Living in Lake Waccamaw (NC). The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. William J. GODWIN. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Mr. GODWIN is survived by a son, Thurman GODWIN of Clarendon; a daughter, Thelma G. NOBLES of Chadbourn (NC); a sister, Eliza G. FOWLER of Tabor City (NC); nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at Worthington Funeral Home.
