Hello Warren, I see you have Peters from NY to NB listed as family. I have a Frances PETERS as the wife of Nathan Deforest FOWLER (1822-????). It is possible PETERS was born in Folkstone England (as per LDS site), but unconfirmed. I know nothing else about her. Nathan D FOWLER is son of Josiah FOWLER (1794-1870) who is son of UEL Gabriel FOWLER (1757-1832). Gabriel was born in Wales, came to NY with parents, and went to French Village/Hampton NB as a Loyalist after the revolution. Gabriel's father (James FOWLER) is buried in the Acadian Loyalist Cemetery, French Village, NB along with: 1> James Wetmore (1727-1798) 2> Elizabeth (ABRAHAMS?) WETMORE (1730-1808) 3> Sarah (CLARK) WETMORE (1741-1794) wife of Justus WETMORE 4> Ruth (SHERWOOD) WETMORE (1769-1794) wife of David Brown WETMORE and others. I am not related to the Wetmores, but thought you might have some interest. The similarities between our families' names/geography looks more than coincidental. Do you have any connections?
