John Fowl was born about 1741, probably in North Carolina, married "Mary" or "Molly" (?). I believe, but have no proof, that his father was Joseph, whose father was Godfrey, one of three sons (Godfrey, John and Mark) of another John in Jamestown, VA. (A John Fowler is listed as a Charter member of the Jamestown Colony) John and Mary (Molly) had the following children: Thomas Mitchell Fowler b. 1764 Pricilla Fowler Deborah Fowler Moses Fowler Tabitha Fowler Jesse Fowler James Fowler America Fowler Joel Fowlerb 1780, Lauren, SC,d Dec 26,1853,in Dekalb County, GA.
