Hi All, I am looking for info on my gggrandparents, Asahel Fowler(b. abt 1829) & Mary A. Buckness (could be Bucknell) (b. abt 1837). Asahel was born in N.Y. (from census data, not proven), Mary born in Michigan (location not known - St. Joseph Co.??). They were married in Hillsdale Co., Michigan Dec. 1856. They were listed on their marriage app. as living in Sherman, St. Joseph co., Mi. They appear in to 1860 census in Burr Oak, St. Joe Co., Mi with their two children - Caroline , 3, and George 4/12.
