Howdy again, I have received several e-mails from different researchers on the FOWLER and COCHRANE/COCKRANE/COCHRAN/COCKRAN(etc.) connection in MD in the 1800's. Unfortunately, much of the information leaves me hanging in the air. Does anyone know anything about SUTTON FOWLER,SR b.ca.1798 MD who supposedly married an ELIZABETH SWEARINGEN circa 1822? I have been sent information that SUTTON FOWLER,SR was the father of ELIZABETH FOWLER,b.ca.1825-1830 (who married WILLIAM COCHRANE(Irish emigrant) and they lived in CALVERT COUNTY,MD.) I was wondering if anyone can tell me a little more on SUTTON FOWLER,SR,b.ca. 1798 and who his parents were and where they came from? Also, whatever happened to them? Apparently ELIZABETH FOWLER,age 19, was living with a person on the census named SOLOMON NITING who was said to be her great grandpa in the 1850 census. This SOLOMON NITING couldn't have been her great grandpa if ELIZABETH SWEARINGEN and SUTTON FOWLER were ELIZABETH FOWLER,b.ca.1825-1830,'s parents. SOLOMON'S age on the census was 45 and ELIZABETH SWEARINGEN FOWLER would have been that age in 1850 per her birth info on the new LDS site. Therefore, who was SOLOMON NITING and what was his connection to the FOWLERS?
