SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. - Diana Michelle DeMAREA and Foster Barney FOWLER III were married May 30 (1999) at St. Simons United Methodist Church. The Rev. Dave HANSON performed the ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Becky DeMAREA of Lenexa, Kan. She is a graduate of Baker University in Baldwin, Kan., and Emory University in Atlanta. She is an anesthetist in Atlanta. The groom is a son of Barney and Frances FOWLER of Conway. He is a graduate of Coastal Carolina College. He is employed with Bianco Hopkins and Associates as director of multimedia software development in Atlanta. A reception was held at Jekyll Island Club and Hotel. The couple spent a honeymoon in St. Simons Island, Ga., before making their home in Decatur, Ga.
