"On April 4, 1860, James Franklin MCCLESKEY and Sallie FOWLER, born about 1840, were married in Cobb County, GA. Her parents were James and Susan GAULT FOWLER., both of whom had died before their daughter married James Franklin McCLESKEY.", page 91 The McCleskey Family in Georgia. on page 94 of same: "James Franklin and Sallie FOWLER MCCLESKEY had their three children with them as they traveled to Arkansas....Going to Arkansas at the same time were: (1) Ervin J. FOWLER, a brother of Sallie F.MCCLESKEY, with his wife and two chilren...."(They are unnamed.) ...For almost eighteen years James F. MCCLESKEY lived in Yell County, Arkansas, with his family. Several of his children married in those years.In 1897, James F. MCCLESKEY, his wife and their two youngest sons moved into the Indian Territory-now Oklahoma. After a year, they returned to Arkansas. They located in Union County, Arkansas, just north of the Louisiana state line, in the Shuler Community near El Dorado. In 1910, James Franklin and Sallie FOWLER MCCLESKEY observed fifty years of marriage. On September 8, 1913, James Franlkin MCCLESKEY died near El Dorado. He was buried at the Fredonia Cemetery nearby. On May 1, 1925, Sallie FOWLER McCLESKEY died. She, too, was buried at Fredonia." My question, does anyone have information about Sallie FOWLER'S brother, Ervin FOWLER? The book that I have cited has these FOWLER names in the index.
