Wiley Fowler was a used name in my Fowler line from Cherokee County GA. I descend from Aaron (1796-1844) and Elizabeth Fowler from SC and they first moved to Rabin Co Ga and then to Forsyth Co. Ga and had family in Cherokee Co. In fact, he died at a sister's home in Cherokee Co. One of his sons, William Fowler married a Lucy and lived in Cherokee Co and Wiley is used several times in this line....however, one of the wives was a Wiley before marriage. Therefore, your Wiley might of been named by another surname in that area and probably a wife's maiden name in Cherokee Co.????? My dates in Aaron's family are not working out with yours however there is a brother by the name of Moses and then there is a Jeremiah so they might tie in soon.....I know I have seen the name you are looking for and possibly in that line?
