LILLINGTON (NC?) -- C. Wayne CUMMINGS, 80, of Lillington died Sunday (September 5, 1999) in his home. The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Raven Rock Presbyterian Church by the Revs. Jerry VUNCANNON, Jerry PARSONS, and Kenneth SMITH. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. CUMMINGS is survived by his wife, Isadell F. CUMMINGS of the home; a daughter, Sue C. COLLINS of Salisbury; three sons, Jerry CUMMINGS, Kenneth CUMMINGS and Chris CUMMINGS, all of Lillington; four brothers, Worth CUMMINGS, Williard CUMMINGS, Winfred CUMMINGS and Jake CUMMINGS, all of Lillington; a sister, Jeanette THYNES of South Carolina; three stepdaughters, Janice SMITH, Phyllis SUGGS and Diane SMITH, all of Tabor City (NC); a stepson, Billy FOWLER of Tabor City; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight (September 6, 1999) from 7 to 9 at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home.
