In answer to your e-mail of Feb.18th, as to not having children for ten years after Solomon and Sarah FOWLER had Rachel, I neglected to mention that Edmund was the oldest son, and that three other daughters were born before Edmund. I think Edmund FOWLER was born a little before 1772,but only a guess, I find Edmund FOWLER in the 1800 Dutchess Co. census living by brother Richard FOWLER. They are listed as over 26 and under 45. Edmund FOWLER died in 1814. On the 1810 census Edmund was still listed in the same age range. Edmund FOWLER'S wife, Elizabeth ABRAMSE, was related to both the BARTOW and PELL families, her mother Ann ABRAMSE was the daughter of Theophilus BARTOW and Bathsheba PELL.
