Linda, I have a gg-grandfather named Joshua Davis Fowler, born 1793 in Pennsylvania. I don't know where in Pennsylvania he was born. His father John D. Fowler was born 1764, birthplace unknown. They were in Ohio in the early 1800's. John D. Fowler was on the early tax lists of Adams, later Brown County, Ohio. Joshua D. Fowler was married in Clermont County, Ohio, next door to Brown County, in 1816. Joshua later moved to Butler County, Ohio, and Tippecanoe and Fountain County, Indiana. Does any of this sound familiar for your Joshua Fowler?
