Someone requested that I post this to the list; I hope it is helpful to some of you. I tried to get the House of FOWLER several places as well as the internet but had no luck. One day I happened to ask the girl who handles magazines at our local Barnes & Noble about it. She gave me the info I needed. House of FOWLER was written by Grover Parsons FOWLER in 1940. I had to get it on special order through the B&N, and it had a waiting period of eight weeks. The book cost $119.00 bef. tax. It is well worth it for me. I am somewhat housebound at this time and live at the beach. You can guess that a tourist mecca like Myrtle Beach does not have the world's best library (although they certainly do the best they can!). Back to my reading! Do any of you get weird looks from your family when they see you reading something that looks like a dictionary and reads like an oversized family tree??? I'm getting a few right now! Godspeed... Dolores
