I am wondering if there are any descendants of Nathaniel Mears Fowler on the list that might could help me with a Wilson connection? I descend from Nathaniel Mears Fowler, through his son, William Mancel Fowler. Mance's daughter, Maude Fowler Henthorne, was my grandmother. My aunt tells me that one of my grandmother's uncles married a woman who was first married to a Wilson. She had a child (by Wilson) who died and is buried at Wheelock Cemetary in McCurtain Co. OK in a plot with the Fowler family. My confusion stems from the fact that it has been said there is a Wilson connection on the Brannan side of the family. Credence is also lent to this by the fact that my grandmother's great uncle and wife (Robert R. Brannan & Missouri Goss Brannan) are buried in a Wilson Plot in Ft. Towson Cemetary. I noticed a posting on the Fowler forum that listed Fowlers in this branch with middle name Wilson. If anyone knows of a son of Nathaniel Mears Fowler who married a Mrs. Wilson, please let me know.
