Folks, Just had to write and let you know that my long-awaited copy of the book, The House of FOWLER, came in at Barnes and Noble, and I picked it up yesterday. We won't discuss the hole it left in my pocket; I should have my head examined! I will say that it has some wonderful stuff in it. We had to go to Charleston today to move our daughter, and I read the entire way there and back, and read more tonight, and still don't think I've scratched the surface. I am also sure that any info in it should be backed up with your own research -- as is the case with most books. The sad part is that there is no index so it would make lookups very difficult. I do remember that someone wrote me about Moses FOWLER just recently, and I found some info in the book on him. Would that person please write me again? After I've had a chance to digest the book, (I've been waiting over two months for it to get here), I will try to, at least, send some of the records on FOWLERS that are included in the book to the list and see if that will help any of you. It is highly detailed with tons of people in it (and many pages), and I don't think that I could ever get them all straight, but I will try to figure out a way that I can offer some help to those of you who might need info.
