This is driving me nuts.I also have a James Madison Fowler mine was born 1831 in DeKalb Tennessee his father was Wm. Fowler born abt.1804 and mother Mary? his siblings were Martha, Racheal ,Jane, Nelly, John, Sarah, Danial ,Claborne. James Madison marrieded Bellissant Elkins 11-19-1857 He died Jan 5 ,1899 in Mo.I have found several James Madison Fowlers if anyone has any info on mine i would be glad to share my family with them.
