Hi, David! My name is Connie Hebb, and I am a 4th great-granddaughter of Archibald Fowler. My line is through his son (my 3rd great-grandfather), John W. Fowler Sr. of DeKalb County, Georgia. My 2nd great-grandfather was Alexander Currier Fowler, and my great-grandfather was Thomas Almond Fowler (born Maletos (sp?) Almond Fowler). My grandfather was Hoyt Albert Fowler, and my mother is Juanita Elizabeth Fowler Hebb. I would love to swap information with you, as I do have copies of J. W. Fowler's will, as well as that of A. C. Fowler. FYI, the DeKalb Historical Society has letters written by my 2nd great-granduncle, J. W. Fowler Jr. to my 2nd great-grandaunt Anna M. Fowler (later White). He wrote those during his service in the War between the States. J. W. Fowler Sr. and A. C. Fowler served in the war, as well. Also, J. W. Sr. served as Sheriff of DeKalb County twice in the early-mid 1800's. A. C. served as Postmaster of a fairly new town of Stone Mountain in 1847. Oh, well!
