Looking for references to John Fowler married to Bethea (Bethiann-Bethiah) Tippett (Tipit - Tippitt) in Granville County, North Carolina. His son, Thomas T. Fowler, married Jane Jones in Granville Co., NC as well. Line goes: Thomas T. x Jane Jones < John Fowler x Bethia Tippett < to Richard (Jr.) x Unknown ?? < to Richard (Sr.) x Grace Unknown?? < Mark x Marjory Unknown < Godfrey x Susannah Archer ?? < John x Mary Unknown < Rev. Christopher x Elizabeth Burgess. This is not proven...just speculation. The two Richards are my Nemisis as I believe that the Richard (Sr.) was reasonably wealthy and the Richard (Jr.) squandered it all away. The John became an apprentice or something as his father was said to have indentured them. I probably have my Stories/rumors mixed-up on these Fowlers; as my other computer lost my Family Tree Maker information, notes, and e-mail addresses. I am trying to Document either Richard and Mark for D.A.R. purposes. What Books have references to ANY of these people?
