    2. Hi, David! I don't know if this will help, but the DeKalb Historical Society gave me a lead you might be able to follow with regards to destroyed/vandalized cemeteries. I was told there is the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 that requires all states to have a historic officer. The National Register Of Historic Places was started as a result of this.
