I have a William Thomas Fowler who was born in Hopkins Co. KY on 11-17-1844 (died: 09-28-1903 in Salt Lake City, Utah) who married Nancy Estes ( Jackeon Estes x Susan W. Corum<Wm. C. & Barsheba Alice (Bloyd) Corum>) Wm T. Fowler son of Thomas T. Fowler born 07-20-1815 in Granville, NC and died 09-15-1885 in Madisonville-Hanson, KY - Hopkins County. Thomas T. married Jane Jones who died 02-09-1861 in Hansen, KY - Hopkins County. Thomas T, Fowler was the son of John Fowler of Granville, NC - near the Tar River- who married Bethiah Tippett on January 23, 1811. I am trying to locate any words written that shows John Fowler being the son of Richard Fowler of Granville, NC and this Richard may have floated to S.C as well. This Richard was/is a mystery. He may have fought in the Am. Rev. War??? He was the son of Richard Fowler who was the son of Mark to Godfrey to the original John Fowler from England to Virginia.
