I am looking for infomation on Abigail FOWLER. Following is what I know for sure about her: She married John JOHNSON on December 24, 1760. The service was performed by Reverend Henry Barclay. This information comes from a letter written by the Archivist of Trinity Church in the City of New York. I also know that she died May 6, 1816 in Charleston, South Carolina. I have been to her grave at the Second Presbyterian Church in Charleston. I have read two different reports as to who her parents were. Some places she is listed as the daughter of Jonathan FOWLER and Anne SEYMOUR. Other sources say her parents were Edmund FOWLER and Rachel HUNT. I am sure both sets of parents had a daughter Abigail.
