Myra, I was reading you message on the computer. My mother was a Fowler. Her father was Clyde Sexton Fowler who married Nora (Kara) Batten. His father was James Fowler, who married a lady by the name of Almira. Clyde lived at Archer Lodge, North Carolina. That is located in Johnston County. Could this James Fowler that you mention be the James Fowler in my lineage? Do have any dates, such as, birth and death? Was it possible that the James that you mention ever lived in North Carolina? Jim, The only information I have about my James Fowler is that he was born in 1785 in Duplin Co., NC, died aft. 1810 in Trigg Co., KY and married Mary Shakles.
