Hi: I found a West J. Fowler in the 1840 census in White River, Izard County, Arkansas; roll M704_18; page 214. Hope this helps. Someone else has recently told me that my West Fowler died in Caldwell County and she found his will registered there, so this Arkansas West, is not one of mine (I think) after all.. Good Luck..
