MYRTLE BEACH (SC) Carl FOWLER Avid fisherman and NASCAR fan Carl FOWLER, 59, of Myrtle Heights, died Monday, April 24, 2000, at the Veterans Hospital in Charleston (SC). He was born Jan. 6, 1941, in Loris (SC), a son of the late Jet Henry and Lovie LONG FOWLER. He was a member of North Myrtle Beach Christian Church and was a Navy veteran who served during the Cuban missile crisis. Survivors include a son, Shannon FOWLER of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Sherry REYES of Myrtle Beach; two sisters, Janice OUTHOUSE of Matton, Ill., and Delores CRISP of Dillsboro, N.C.; and five grandchildren, Mikayla, Sterling and Summer FOWLER, and Chantel and Sage REYES. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight (April 25, 2000) at 540 Cedar Drive in Myrtle Beach. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday (April 26, 2000) at North Myrtle Beach Christian Church.
