Ted, I have been trying to connect those Franklin Co. GA Fowlers to my Fowlers in Upstate SC for a while. Mine settled in Laurens Co. SC before going to GA (I think Cherokee Co.) and came back to Oconee Co. SC and then Jackson Co. NC. I think John Fowler b. 1768 family was in Laurens Co. too. Where did you see Joseph as his father?
