CONWAY (SC) - Ransom Mannie "Bud" PRINCE, Jr., 62, of April Road, died Friday, Jan. 21, 2000, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston (SC) after an illness. He was born in Horry County (SC), a son of the late Ransom Mannie PRINCE, Sr. and Annie Elizabeth FOWLER PRINCE. Survivors include his wife, Georgie R. PRINCE; three daughters, Diana BLOMBERG of Myrtle Beach (SC), Elizabeth Ann PRINCE of Loris (SC) and Martha Ann GATTIS of Conway; a brother, Colie M. PRINCE of Conway; eight sisters, Anna WELCH of Myrtle Beach, Margaret MARLOWE of North Myrtle Beach (SC), Doris JOHNSON, Virgie WILLIS, Mary PRINCE, Evonia SMITH and Faye HUGGINS, all of Loris, and Pauline FOWLER of Conway; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, George Leverne PRINCE. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel. The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday (January 23, 2000) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery (Conway, Horry County, SC).
