I am interested in the family of Permelia Fowler. She is sometimes referred to as Parmelia. I found her in 1850 in the home of her parents: Rial Fowler, age 48, white male farmer, born in SC Susannah, age 39, white female, born in GA William, 22, male, born in GA (all kids born in GA) Lucinda C., 18, female Miles A., age 18 Sarah Ann, age 16 Arriona, age 14 Parmelia A, age 11 Marianne E., age 9 Eliza Jane, age 7 Martha S., age 3 John C. Calhoun, age 6/12 In 1840, this family is in Cobb County but the name is spelled Ryal In 1830, this family is in DeKalb County with the name spelled Riel. I found a marriage in Richmond County, GA between John Fowler and Susannah Brader November 8, 1823. I do not know if this is correct but it is the only Fowler-Susannah marriage I could find. Richmond County in on the GA/SC border. If anyone has any information on the above families, please contact me.
