TABOR CITY, NC. - Sallie HEWETT, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, at Loris (SC) Community Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Davis FOWLER and Nettie POWELL FOWLER. She was the widow of McDuffie HEWETT. Survivors include four sons, William Mack HEWETT, Lonnie M. HEWETT and Paul HEWETT, all of North Myrtle Beach (SC), and Thomas C. HEWETT of St. Francis, WI.; two sisters, Mary JERNIGAN of Loris and Thelma BECK of St. Pauls, N.C.; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight (January 17, 2000) at Inman Funeral Home in Tabor City. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday (January 18, 2000) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dulah Cemetery.
